I have been consistently following a yoga program called ROMWOD for the last three weeks and it has made me feel so much better throughout my day to day. Many of you may or may not already know but I suffer from sciatica (occassionally) and periformis syndrome. ROMWOD allows me to do their program at any time which is nice since my schedule changes very often working full time as a personal trainer. The workouts are short and sweet and some days they offer a shorter version of the workout if you are time constrained, usually under 10 mins but the average 20 min workout goes by so fast it's incredible! I am forever a believer in their programming and definitely think it's the best $10 I ever spend all month on myself. This is probably one of the most used excuses I hear from strangers on the street I meet in passing to family members crying about how busy they are in their day to day routines. I get it. We are all busy. But being to busy to workout is just an excuse. Go ahead and keep telling yourself that or what ever it is you say to make yourself feel better for not reaching your fitness goals. Only hard work, determination, and perserverence will get you there so lets get moving! My suggestion for those of us that just get bogged down with life or even for those days that you just don't feel like it. Pick a movement, a circuit, anything and go hard for 10 minutes! The higher the intensity they better but remember form before speed. With a healthy diet and an intense 10 minute workout you will be reapping rewards in no time!
